Wow! As Kathie's daughter put it, thirty years of hard work paid off! This is a superb 2023 win for Ferro aka Can. Ch. Blackwing's Ferromagnetic Attraction, at the Chomedey show and the Basenji Club of Canada National Specialty. Thank you to judge Raymond Yurick.

Not only did Ferro take Best in Specialty, but her father Freddie took Best of Opposite!​
On the first day of the show, Blackwing's Special Peanut Butter took Best of Breed and Second in Group. Thank you to judge Roberto Alvarez Marquez for seeing her in that lovely line up.
